Add Some Short Description

Refined Carrageenan

1. Product description:
Carrageenan is obtained from seaweed through alkali treatment, extraction, filtration, gelling, dehydration, drying and grinding. Carrageenan, when works together with konjac gum, locust bean gum, xanthan gum, can play a desired synergistic effect in processed food products. This can significantly change their gelling properties, by improving their elasticity and water retention capacity.
Candy Carrageenan for soft candies is mainly composed of refined or semi-refined carrageenan. It has the unique properties and benefits when it is used in soft candies, including high transparency, short demould time, high elasticity, less stickiness and lower cost.
